Stanced S15 Silvia
The White S15 Silvia R is a 2002 turbo Silvia with 98,000 kms and looks stunning. The S15 has widened front FRP arches and a set of 18inch alloys sitting perfectly under larger arches. The Auction house graded the car as a crash repair vehicle, this could be down to the extensive modifications. The body of the car is nearly perfect with only a few small stone chips reported on the auction sheet. You gotta love the S15 they always look amazing. The stanced S15 sold for $7,700 which is a steal considering standard 2002 S15s sold for $11,000.
Toyota Altezza Rs Z edition
The Altezza has the same chassis as the lexus IS200 in Europe but the JDM Altezza has the all important beams tuned engine that provides it with a claimed 220bhp in standard form. This yellow SXE10 Altezza has a turbo kit installed to boost the BHP as the Altezza can be a little bit slow in standard form. The altezza is a 1998 car with only 45,000 kms. The car has a FRP bonnet and what looks like Wedsport SA90 alloys. The Altezza sold for $3,644, don’t you just love japan and all their JDM cars.
Toyota Carina GT-R
I think I might have a small obsession with the Carina GT-R, I constantly find myself looking them up, i’ve covered them previously here. This Silver Carina GT-R was a grade 3.5 at auction, mainly due to the high kilometers but with the exception of 2 marks on the passenger wing the car is in unbelievable condition for a 1983 car with a whopping 196,000 kilometers. The Carina GT-R has no aftermarket parts, which suits many of the purists out there. This Carina GT-R sold at auction for $3,814, which is a steal for such a nice JDM Classic car.
Toyota Supra JZA80
The Silver 1995 twin turbo Supra below has only 50,000. The Supra’s engine has a serious amount of work carried out to it. Its got a 3.1 litre stroker kit, a Trust T88-34D turbo, HKS Cams, 850cc Sard injectors, ORC Clutch, Power FC ECU, HKS 2 way LSD, a full set of DEFI gauges, a veilside bodykit (which was cool once) and a set of Advan Alloys. The Supra sold for an undisclosed amount but its worth putting up to show a true JDM beast of a car.
Skyline DR30 with RB26
This has to be my favorite car up for auction this week, the Dr30 Skyline originally should have 188 BHP turbo 2.0 litre engine. This DR30 Skyline has a RB26DETT engine from an R33 GTR, the Skyline itself is a 1984 with an unconfirmed 68,000kms. The car has a massive specification of aftermarket parts, that include an aftermarket ECU, Aftermarket exhaust, Brakes and Suspension. The DR30 RB26DETT didn’t sell but had a reserve of $9,300, this is a truly amazing JDM car as its got the looks of a JDM classic car and the power of a true JDM legend. You’ve got to love the period perfect graphics on the side but i’m sure they didn’t have 2.0 litre twin turbo RB26Dett engines in 1983.
Stroker Kitted Nissan R33 GTR
This R33 Skyline looks amazing with no rear wing and a set of front canards. The R33 GTR has a 2.8 litre HKS stroker kit, a HKS GT2530 turbo, HKS, exhaust, turbo timer and boost controller. The 1996 R33 GTR has only done 84,000kms but is a grade R and has had the front repaired. This R33 is most likely a track car with the roll cage and carbon splitters. This car didn’t sell either as it had a high reserve of $15,000 but i’m sure this car is a beast on the track.
I done a little bit more digging on this car and I found its for sale advert in Japan and the car has an unbelievable specification and sounds amazing, theres more pictures and full spec is here. See the test drive of the R33 GTR below.
