Nissan GT-R R35

Nissan GT-R R35 history

The Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, R33 and R34 are well known for their RB26 DETT engine and handling. When the R32 GTR was first released it got the name ‘Godzilla’ as it was a beast from Japan, the R32 GTR dominated racing events in Australia for many years. The Skyline GT-R had came in three different models and all the different models had the same RB26 DETT engine which had 280bhp as standard form. The Skyline GT-R was produced from 1989 to 2002 and the final Skyline GTR was the R34 GTR.

When nissan started producing the new GT-R, they dropped the Skyline and just called it ‘Nissan GT-R’. Production of the new GT-R R35 started in 2007 to 2010, the GT-R had a VR38DETT the 3.8L engine produced 478 BHP from the factory. A Facelift model was produced in 2011 that produced 542 BHP. The R35 GT-R is well known for its amazing power and speed and has won many circuit tests against much more expensive supercars. The R35 looks and sounds amazing in standard form but many people just love modifying their cars to their own preference.

The Nissan GT-R R35 below is a face lift 2014 GT-R with only 14,000kms. The R35 GT-R has a full liberty Walk body kit including the massive overfenders and 20 inch Liberty Walk alloy wheels and sitting perfectly on Air-Rex suspension. The car is a grade 4.5(which is basically new) with only 1 slight mark near the rear spoiler. The GT-R R35 looks amazing with the kit.

The above R35 GT-R hasn’t gone up for auction yet but ill upgrade the sale price if and when it sells.

To get a gauge on what these type of cars sell for, I have found similar cars for sale in Japan with a similar specification 3 of the cars are been sold by the same garage here. The Black R35 GT-R is a 2008 model with 52,000kms and is for sale in Japan for $80,000 but it does look awesome.
