Mitsubishi Evolution X Varis Demo Car

The Mitsubishi Evolution X Varis or Evo 10 as called by many people was produced from 2007 to 2015, after which production of the infamous Evolution series was stopped. The Evo X was powered by a 2.0L 4B11T engine producing 276 BHP in standard form in Japan. There is many specialist tuners of the Evo X but two of the most famous tuners and designers came together to produce a demo car for the Tokyo Auto Salon in 2012.

The Mitsubishi Evolution X Varis demo car was on display in 2012 and it featured the Varis Evo X wide body kit that retails for over $9,000. The Evo X looks a dominant figure with the wide arch kit, one of the main characteristics about the Varis kit is that it’s not too wide like many wide arch kits on the market now.

The Varis Evo X kit is a full carbon body kit, this is the main reason for the large price tag by Varis. The Varis body kit consists of a carbon bonnet, bumpers, splitters, canards wider arches and a rear spoiler. Pro drive took care of the wheels which are prodrive GC-012 19 inch alloy wheels, they also supplied the calipers, seats, floor mats, Shock absorbers and steering wheel.

The Carbon kevlar prodrive seats look amazing, they are a reclining seat based on a Recaro frame. These Prodrive seats have the looks of a race car seat and the function to suit every day driving. These Prodrive seats don’t come cheap though, they retail for over a whopping $1400 per seat.

The engine has had a prodrive tune to a healthy 398 BHP,  the Evo also has a HKS EVC and HKS Camp2 to keep the engine running smoothly and help the owner monitor the engine. The Exhaust is a prodrive unit fitted with Sard catalytic converter.

This Mitsubishi Evolution X Varis prodrive Demo car is a true work of art and a dream car for many people, the car itself is a 2008 model Evo 10 with only 40,000kms on it. This demo evo X is in auction in Japan at the minute for $57,000. The Mitsubishi Evolution X Varis demo car is for sale here.
