Mazda Rx7 FD BN Sport kitted
The Mazda Rx7 FD has to be one of the best looking cars of the 90s and still looks great today even against modern sports cars. The Mazda Rx7 FD3s or also referred as the ‘FD’ has a wankel engine thats got a twin turbo setup, one turbo for low boost and the second turbo been activated at 4,000 rpm, this gives a smooth crossover. The engine comes with different specifications throughout the years but it never exceeded the 276bhp of the gentleman’s agreement. The Mazda RX7 Fd was produced between 1992 and 2002, there was over 68,000 RX7s produced. The RX7 out performed many larger more expensive JDM cars like the GTR and NSX at many racing events and the RX7 was considerably less expensive than the other sports cars.
BN Sports
Body Kits on cars now are not really the done thing anymore, as many people like the OEM look of their cars and will generally just put on a set of deep dish rims and slam the car to the ground. Even in today’s standards of the OEM look, most people will know BN Sports, as for years they have produced the best looking body kits for some of the best JDM cars on the market.
The Red RX7 below is for sale in Auction in Japan and has a full BN sports body kit, and it looks great. The kit alone for this car just to buy would have cost $2,500 before painting or fitting, check out the Bn-sports site for a bit of car porn. The overfenders on the mazda Rx7 are MASSIVE just look t the rear lights how much wider they are. The car is a 2001 Mazda RX7 FD with 83,000kms and was given a grade R in auction, there is repair history on the front 2 wings (I don’t know how they could tell with all the extra work) after that the car is clean with no real marks or damage. This RX7 FD has a start price of $9,000 and will probably sell in the region of $20,000+. The car has also received work in the engine, its got a V-mount intercooler and an aftermarket ECU. Its sitting on work emotion alloys that 9J wide and -15 offset.
