Skyline R33 GTR V Spec
The Skyline R33 GTR is regarded by many people as their least favourite of the skyline GTR trilogy but personally i’d still love one of these cars they are great looking car. This R33 GTR has a specification that is capable of reaching serious horsepower. The R33 GTR below is a 1996 car with only 46,000 kms and a full service history. The car is graded as a repair vehicle the auction sheet is showing a replaced bonnet and trunk, the cars auction sheet has the body looking extremely clean with only a few small stone chips. The engine has a 2.8L stroker kit with an upgraded turbo and cams with most of the aftermarket parts been HKS. Modified S15 Drift Car
A Black S15 with a massive rear wing always gets me, the car is a 2000 Silvia with only 70,000kms. The S15 Silvia isa great looking car in standard form and with a few small exterior modifications they look mean. The Black S15 below looks like its a drift car, its got a full front end replaced with FRP panels and the rear truck has been replaced. The S15s engine has a HKS 2540 turbo and a power FC ECU. With a decent set of alloy wheels the S15 would look great, the car sold for $7,500 at auction.
Grade 4 S13 with Dmax Kit
This White 1993 S13 Silvia is a grade 4 car with 120,000 kilometers. The S13 has a Dmax bodykit and 15 inch alloys. the car sits perfectly on the alloys. Its truly amazing how this car got a grade 4 as it has repair history and corrosion on the arches. It wouldn’t take much to restore the car as the damage isn’t too bad. The S13 sold at auction for an undisclosed amount, unfortunately.
Nissan Silvia S14 Stanced
The below Nissan Silvia S14 is a grade 3.5 car with 113,000kms. The S14 Silvia is stanced on Seeker 18 inch alloy wheels, with a full wide arch kit to help the alloys sit perfectly under the arches. The S14 Silvia sold for $4,000 at auction.
Daihatsu Detomaso
The Daihatsu Detomaso is a little Japanese 90s pocket rocket with a 1.6 liter engine producing 125bhp. In today’s standard of power from 1600cc engines this would be considered a slow car but it in the 90s it was a fun little car. The Detomaso only weighs 930 kg, which made the car feel nimble. The Detomaso had a similar style to the Starlet GT. The daihatsu detomaso doesn’t come up for sale too often, but surprisingly enough when they do come up for sale they don’t make big money at auction for such a cool little JDM car. The below car was a 1995 car with 85,000kms and a grade 3.5 at auction. The car wasn’t immaculate but it wouldn’t have took much to clean up. The Detomaso sold for only $458 at auction in Japan. This seems low but when I looked into them further that seems the average price for them.
KPGC10 Nissan Skyline GTR
The first generation Skyline Hakosuka GTR is super rare with only 1,115 produced, and due to their rarity they fetch serious money everytime they come up for sale. The Skyline Hakosuka GTR does look seriously cool and it a true classic JDM car that seem to be increasing in value every year. The below Hakosuka GTR is a 1972 Car with an astonishing 98,128 kms and grade 3.5 B, the GTR is also in seriously good condition but the auction sheet does indicate that the front end has been replaced. The Hakosuka GTR sold for $114,153 at auction before any fees or charges.
Bosozoku Nissan Skyline
Bosozoku Style JDM Cars are referred to in Japan as Gang cars but the style is popular in Japan and many people that aren’t part of gangs drive bosozoku styled cars now. The Skyline below is a 1980 car and in standard form it would usually sell for $14,000+ in auction but the bosozoku car below sold for $7,373.
Toyota Cresta GX71 Lucent
The Cresta Gx71 Lucent was ever a JDM car that stirred much interest with me before but they can be made look a nice car with a few small additions. The Cresta lucent came with a 2,000 liter engine that produced 138 bhp but the car weighted 1280 kgs. The below car is a 1987 car and a grade 3, it sold for $5,000 and looks so good with a few simple mods and lowered.
TOYOTA SPRINTER GT APEX 3D
The black AE86 sprinter below is a 1986 car with 136,000 kms on the clock. The below sprinter is in good condition but has been graded a Repair vehicle but the body doesn’t have much damage and looks great. The Sprinter Levin sold for $7,161 at auction.
Toyota Red AE86 Levin GT Apex
The Red AE86 below is 1987 car and has a grade of 3.5 and 169,000 kms on the clocks. The car has had a front end replaced with FRP panels and the rear trunk has been replaced too. The Ae86 sold for $6,737, which would be cheap for a good condition AE86 Levin, especially one with a Levin 20V engine from a AE111.
